27 SEPTEMBER 2012 – II INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION LAW FORUM IN WARSAW

The Office of Competition and Consumer Protection of Poland has decided to convene, in cooperation with the Warsaw School of Economics, the  2nd International Competition Law Forum to be held on September 27th, 2012 in Warsaw.

The conference will be devoted to recent and expected developments in the field of competition law. The event will cover the issue of procedural fairness and its place in effective cartel detection, new trends in the fining policy, as well as selected aspects of the review process of antitrust decisions. The meeting is recognized as a unique opportunity to find the optimal solutions to improving the enforcement of competition rules based on common experiences and to develop the strategy for priority-setting in antitrust activities.

Finding the right balance between effective cartel detection and legal procedure, new trends in the sanctions policy – these and other topics will be discussed during the International Competition Law Forum to be organized for the second time by the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection.
