The Federal Competition Authority of Austria is organising a Competition Conference in Vienna on 11^th & 12^th December 2014. The focus of this conference is to create a forum for expert discussions on the topic of investigations and related issues, such as best practices in interviews, inspections and their legal boundaries, settlements in cartel cases as well as the need for appropriate institutional design and independence of competition authorities.
