The mission of the ICN Curriculum Project [to be added] is to create a comprehensive curriculum of training materials to serve as a virtual university on competition law and practice for competition agency officials. Training modules, consisting of video lectures and accompanying materials from a diverse group of international academics and practitioners, provide an on-line interactive educational center for competition authorities from around the world.

A total of thirteen full modules and several short form presentations were released at the 2011 through 2014 ICN annual conferences, including competition policy fundamentals, horizontal restraints, dominant firm conduct, mergers, competition advocacy, and investigational techniques.  In addition, the ICN has collected a virtual library of visual presentations prepared by agencies, academics, and others that may be of interest.

We welcome your feedback on the modules, ideas for future modules, and your vote on choice of a new name. Here are our leading contenders:

  • ICN Virtual Training Room
  • ICN Online Academy
  • ICN Virtual University

Choose your favorite name from our list or submit one of your own. We’ll announce the new name in an upcoming blog post.
