The Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) held an international conference on May 11th and 12th to address the challenges of implementing competition laws in developing countries. The CCP organized this conference in Lahore, Pakistan to share country practices in drafting, enforcing, and advocating for competition laws, as well as to create closer cooperation among participating agencies. Panelists spoke on various topics, including the independence of competition agencies, determinants of an effective competition regime, and the importance of advocacy in developing countries.
