The Competition Bureau (Canada) recently announced that it will host a series of roundtables to discuss the merits of revising the Bureau’s Merger Enforcement Guidelines.  The purpose of the roundtables will be to assess whether the guidelines accurately reflect the Bureau’s current merger review practices, as well as other legal and economic developments, including the recent revisions to the Horizontal Merger Guidelines issued by the U.S. antitrust authorities.
