A Competition Day on ‘Private Enforcement’ was organised in October under the auspices of the Belgian Presidency of the European Union. Representatives of consumers and industry, judges, the European Commission and competition practitioners exchanged views on the compensation of damages for breach of competition rules in the European Union.
