Canada: Guidelines

The Canadian Competition Bureau has announced revised draft Enforcement Guidelines on the Abuse of Dominance Provisions for comments. The revised draft Guidelines are available on the Bureau’s Website. The Guidelines provide a concise overview of the Bureau’s enforcement approach to the abuse of dominance provisions.

The Canadian Competition Bureau on Wednesday published revised guidelines describing its approach to administering a two-stage merger review process, providing increased guidance on the process of issuing supplementary information requests.

Merger Remedies – Canada

  The Canadian Competition Bureau recently released a summary of its Merger Remedies Study on the effectiveness of remedies obtained between 1995 and 2005.
